March is National Nutrition month which is a great time to discuss why nutrition matters!!
Nutrition by definition is the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for
health and growth. I personally feel like many of us know a diet that involves good
nutrition choices can have many benefits and improve and maintain our health. Goodnutrition matters because this is our source for energy! Everyone knows what they feellike if they skip a meal, some can become “ hangry” or others snack on whatever isavailable. Some who “skip” a meal may feel irritable or low energy, like they are “runningon fumes.” I remember when I started changing my own eating habits I went from eating three meals a day, plus snacking whenever and on whatever I wanted, to eating 3 meals a day and that was it. It was not an easy transition to make, but I feel because I learned to make better choices as far as the nutritional value of what I was eating I felt full enough following a meal that I did not feel the need to snack. There are many, many reasons nutrition matters, good nutrition choices really matter. If you would like to learn more, book a free discovery call today!!
